Throughout my educational career, I have taken several history courses. Until I came to the Claremont Colleges, I felt as though there was a gap in regards to influential women in history. Therefore, my final portfolio brings forward the names of women and their remarkable, yet oftentimes forgotten, contributions to social change. Each piece is a mock magazine cover from the issue "TBDiscovered." I drew inspiration from my love of bright, contrasting colors, as well as pop art artsits, such as Roy Lichteinstein, Marta Minujin, Andy Warhol, and Corita Kent.
